The Great Global Warming Swindle…

hmmm, this one should bring some good conversation.

for those who know me, or know who i am- you know that i ABSOLUTELY HAVE NOT AND WILL NOT JUMP on the bandwagon of those who think that “we” are killing the planet with the THEORY of global warming. I do think there is a chance that we are killing the planet (or at least the people on it) - but hardly with an issue that we have little to no control or effect over. (ie: overpopulation, anti-biotic consumption, the inevitable walk in constant debt, and i could go on and on…)

if you want to talk about some REAL issues, lets start talking more about penis enlargement, and goatsie - but wait, back to the subject…

So, as with any issue - i highly recommend to everyone to acquire as much data and information around any given issue before making up your mind and especially before backing it up. So if you have gone out and watched ‘Inconvenient Truth’, Al Gore’s documentary about the subject - i also highly recommend watching ‘The Great Global Warming Swindle’. Unfortunately you will not find this airing in this united states anytime soon, nor can you find it on Google or YouTube Video (anything that puts a hamper on good money making schemes, or might be based on some sorta truth, are usually pulled from these venues quickly) - so you will have to maybe order a copy from Brittan, or get on the internets and see if you can find it somewhere… yeah, the internets - the very same one that ol’ Al Gore invented… why are people putting any weight into ANYTHING this DBag says?!?!?

Now, i’m sure BOTH documentaries have some injected PROPAGANDA - which is fine! What i am recommending is that you gather AS MUCH INFORMATION as you can on the subject (and ANY SUBJECT you find worth talking about), and THEN take a position on that given subject. Unfortunately i beleive that most people will be presented an intersting issue - and jump on the wagon with interest simply because someone has attached a value set like: “We need to do our part to save the planet…”.

…don’t you want to feel good about yourself???

Please, for fucks sake - we need to look at a little bigger picture when considering issues like this… humans ARE NOT THE CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE! Neither is the planet we live on. Neither are you. Take some time to find arguments and info from both sides of the subject - THEN take a stance. When you are ready - i will battle anyone on the subject - be prepared to talk about things like:

Short term history, Long term weather/season cycles, The lifespan of a human, Other similar issues - and the solutions.
