Old Gallup Poll…
LOL, look at this poll i found from way back in like 1999. Great read - check out some of the stats… My favorite is probably that 1 in 5 americans think that the sun revolves around the earth!?!? LOL. As i read that, it actually started making sense to me. What i realized, is that i’m pretty sure at least 1 in 5 americans i have met in my life, suffer from a serioius case of “Self-centered AssholeIsm Disease”. So it seems to me that those same people would assume -
“… hmmm, everything revolves around me, and i am on the earth, hence the rest of the universe revolves around the earth - including the sun!”
Solid.

DJ Shadow / Cut Chemist - HARD SELL tour…
last night i attended the Hard Sell Tour here in Denver… and it’s definitely a hard sell in my opinion. amazingly this was not your average hip-hop show, there was no hip-hop time! they actually got the show started at about 9pm! wow.
Kid Koala opened the show up - if any of you don’t know the Kid - definitely check him out, he has a unique edge on the tables creating a very talkative/story telling style with his scratching - with a heavy jazz influence mixed in with electronic beats. There have also been a few music vids that are somewhere out there in the internets that are most excellent as well. Last night he opened the show up, and played a most excellent set! I had never seen him before live, however been listening to him for the last 5-6 years, and the kid got skills.
Now let me mention that i have been a follower of both DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist from the beginnings of their careers… and for any of you that don’t know about Shadows’ and Chemists’ history together, here is the quick version: Read the rest of this entry »

Dr. Phil = Hypocrite & Big Little Man Complex…
LOL. I’ve never really cared for nor cared about dr. phil. But this clip tips me to the side of thinking he is pretty much a Douche Nozzle.
Come on?!?! They set up that whole show, they actually followed all the way through to have the guy come out and sit on the stage… and don’t fucking tell me the ol’ Dr. hadn’t previewed the contents before this point!!! Re-fucking-DICK-ulous. Serious hypocrisy and demonstration of little man complex for them to set up a show like that just to have security escort you off the stage.
I think what really pissed dr. phil off is how well Ryan McPherson dressed up as dr. phil… LOL

Airport security becoming amazing!
UPDATE, i fixed the first link, it now actually points to the article i was refering to… which is this link.
Check out this amazing new technique that the TSA screeners at your local airport are learning! Am i missing something? According the the TSA statistics website, in 2006 screeners intercepted 1,607,100 knives (this i believe included box cutters) - but what they fail to tell you is the stats around how many they MISSED. my guess is that it is well over 50%…
What this means to me is that they suck at their job… and now they are assigning them to do a near impossible job.
Humans do a major part of their communicating with body language… many things can be communicated without speaking or making any sound what-so-ever. The interesting thing about communication of any kind, is that for as much communication goes on between humans, and equal amount of MIS-communication also occurs for one reason or another… picture this:
I’m a person making my way through security and have a terrible stomach ache… hence the frown, and pained scary look on my face… the screener sees me coming… and what they visualize from my frown is me whipping out some contraband and slaughtering everyone in the security line.
hmmm, i wonder who’s gonna get screwed here? TSA = Thousands Standing Around
